Lycoming-Clinton HealthChoices is committed to supporting the ongoing professional development of our behavioral health provider network through training, education, and workforce development opportunities.

Trainings may include evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, clinical skill development, compliance topics, and other initiatives designed to strengthen the quality of behavioral health services in our communities.

EMDR Basic Training for Providers

Lycoming-Clinton HealthChoices is proud to support grant-funded EMDR Basic Training opportunities for eligible behavioral health clinicians serving Lycoming and Clinton Counties.

This EMDRIA-approved training, led by Samantha McBride, PsyD, provides clinicians with foundational knowledge and practical skills in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy — an evidence-based approach used to help individuals process trauma and other mental health challenges.

Participants will engage in a combination of in-person and virtual learning designed to strengthen trauma-informed clinical practice and improve treatment outcomes across our provider network. Continuing Education (CE) credits are available.

Training Dates

  • Part 1 (In-Person): September 14–16, 2026

  • Part 2 (Virtual): October 27–28, 2026

Eligibility

Training funding is available for eligible clinicians serving individuals in Lycoming and Clinton Counties through the HealthChoices program.

Additional Information
