Our Advisors
The Behavioral HealthChoices Advisory Board is the formal avenue for stakeholder involvement in the Lycoming-Clinton Behavioral HealthChoices program. Representatives from each of the stakeholder committees, the Lycoming-Clinton MH/ID/EI Program, the Single County Authority (SCA), the Managed Care Organization (MCO) and Behavioral HealthChoices are members of the committee. The duties of the Behavioral HealthChoices Advisory Board are:
To provide Behavioral HealthChoices program oversight and to make recommendations for quality improvement to the Clinical/Quality Committee;
To insure that each of the stakeholder committees has input into its respective area of quality improvement;
To be the formal avenue for communication of concerns from the stakeholder committees to the Clinical/Quality Committee; and
To identify and review such reports as are necessary to assess the overall quality and utilization management of the Behavioral HealthChoices program.
Our Mission
To assure an adequate system of mental health and substance abuse services for Medical Assistance eligible County residents, and to provide administrative oversight of the behavioral healthcare program via a contractual relationship with a behavioral healthcare managed care company.
